１９７１年、愛知県に生まれる。東京外国語大学イタリア語学科卒業。２００６年、ボローニャ国際絵本原画展入選。立体・平面作品の制作・発表をする傍ら、絵本・挿画の分野で活動している。現在、長野県安曇野市在住。http://kajiweb.com/

IZUNO, Kaji was born in Aichi, Japan. After he graduated from Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, having majored in Italian literature, he started his career as a freelance illustrator.
His work (Mouse of the cart) was selected for the Bologna Illustrators Exhibition in Italy in 2006.
He now lives in Nagano (Japan) , working on children's books and preparing for his exhibitions. Recent years, he also has started to work on sculptures.　http://kajiweb.com/
